Wetland Conservation and Management Office is the secretariat of the steering committee, and has been designated as the office to organization and coordinatesteering committee meetings, set meeting agenda and prepare issue papers for the discussion.
Main responsibilities of the steering committee are include formulation of wetland conservation and management policies, wetland conservation plans, discuss any emerging issues related to wetlands and decide strategies for the government to decide follow up actions.
